How can I open channels with Eclair? I have set up a Bitcoin Core wallet with 0.3 bitcoins in it and an Eclair lightning node. The rpc userid and password is set plus all the other settings I am supposed to have, hopefully. No problems with the Bitcoin wallet, and the Eclair software runs without showing errors. I managed to send a channel request and it filled up with 3100 channels and 889 nodes, so it's ok. Hopefully, I have sorted out my firewall to open port 9735 in both directions. I am using noip to fix my ip address. But every time I attempt to open a channel, it sits for a couple of minutes then dies. No channels ever last. They show WAIT_FOR_ACCEPT_CHANNEL for a while, "Your balance" shows as N/A. The funding transaction's id shows N/A. Then they die. Sometimes with "Insufficient funds", sometimes "Failed to open channel". I would really be very very happy if I could get a channel going, but I don't know how to debug it. Is there a

Why does a node get stuck in "Loading wallet..." I've deleted wallet related things from .bitcoin folder including: .bitcoin/wallets and .bitcoin/chainstate and run bitcoin using bitcoind -reindex. This takes longer than just starting over from scratch and deleting the entire .bitcoin folder. The reindex seems to finish quickly, but for a long time afterwards rpc calls always result in: error code: -28 error message: Loading wallet... How to properly update a forked masternode coin I have a BitcoinCore/Dash Fork I've gotten to run successfully. I have it mining correctly in the Wallet, also have 1 Full node, and 2 master nodes setup. All have been working perfectly fine, I ended up mining up past 1000 block. The problem I am running into mentally is how do I properly update the core code and push out updates without disrupting the whole network? How does the network know that my node I push code to, is the correct one it should be receiving updates from? Also, is my first "full node" (which is just a node, not an actual masternode) ever goes down, does the network still continue forward? When I bring my full node backonline with new updates does it just resync with the other nodes for the blockchain? The reason why I ask this is because I just tried to do an update and I had taken down my 2 masternodes and my full node, plus my QT wallet, then when I went to update everything and get back online ever

How are blocks verified? I see in the bitcoin wiki there is something called "script" which compiles down to some bytecode to be run by a very very basic virtual machine. The destination was my phone, at seemingly random ports. I disconnected my phone from the internet, and the requests would stop. They'd start again if I connected and used Electrum. Initially, I thought Electrum was P2P and was doing peer discovery, which would conveniently explain why a machine over the internet would attempt to talk to my machine. But reading ElectrumX 's docs and several other online resources, Electrum is a client-server setup - wallets talk to servers. The only P2P component I see is when servers talk to other servers to find other servers or advertise their presence to other servers. But this would not explain the inbound connection to my machine. So what's going on?

Each application work in separate datadir also each application have setted callback call for event walletnotify . For now I use both application with testnets.
